I share my story because I'm in a position where I can and so many cannot. Storytelling not only busts stigma but helps those who feel isolated know they're not alone. I share my story for those who feel they must sit in silence.

Abortion Advice:  Talk with someone you trust about it. Don't hesitate to ask for what you need. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having an abortion, so you don't have to have one alone.

How I honor my abortion: I honor my abortion by discussing it openly and without shame.

What I wish people knew about abortion: I'd like folks to know that my abortion was one of the many choices in my life that got me to the place where I can say that I'm successful and thriving.

What is your favorite abortion movie?
My favorite depiction of abortion is the first one I'd ever seen: Dirty Dancing. It wasn't until many years later that I realized an abortion kicked off the whole story!
